Our property is on Lower Cullen Lake in the heart of the Brainerd Lakes area. Just 1.3 miles from downtown Nisswa and even closer to the Paul Bunyan bike/snowmobile trail. Welcome to Louie's Lodge on West Twin! This four bedroom Lake Home located on West Twin Lake, 3 miles north of Nisswa, MN is the perfect setting for your lake getaway. Situated on 120 feet of lakefront that affords beautiful views of the lake! The cabin was built in 1965 and completely remodeled top to bottom in 2017. The kitchen includes all new stainless appliances including a dishwasher and microwave and is completely set up with all the kitchen basics necessary for your stay. The bathrooms were completely redone and have all new fixtures. There is a large vaulted living room on the upper level with a gas fireplace and great views of the lake. There is also a large deck off of the upper level. On the lower level you will find another family room, also with a gas fireplace and with a walk out to the lake. There are Samsung Smart TVs on both levels with Spectrum Cable TV and wi-fi. There is a brand new Maytag washer/dryer set available downstairs and a gas grill on the deck Sleeping has been set up to accommodate couples or singles. There are 2 floors, the first floor living and kitchen area and patio door out to relax in the outdoors. The bedroom and bath are located on the second floor. The second floor has low ceilings and a door out onto a deck for relaxing and have an evening drink with an awesome view. Or to watch the sunrise in the morning. The property is close to many lakes and snowmobile trails. Bring your own portable ice house for ice fishing or use our portable ice house to set up while you are here to do some ice fishing. Little Pelican is known for its crappies and northern. In the summer enjoy the lake with a canoe or paddle boat that are available for use. Or do some fishing using the row boat. There are many nice walking trails nearby or just take a short walk down the road back of the cabin, or take advantage of the mountain bike trails in the Crosby/Ironton area, or enjoy the many golf courses that are in the area. And of course there is the Paul Bunyan trail that is 5 miles way. Also we are close to Brainerd/Baxter, Nisswa, Pequot Lakes, Breezy Point, Crosslake or Crosby. For shopping and other area attractions and eating places. Other amenities at the Cottage, we have a small table top charcoal grill for your enjoyment. We have set up a small fire pit on the lake side of the cabin with wood available for you. If you want a large bonfire we ask that you use the fire pit located in front of our log house, it is a shared fire pit due to the fire risk in the area. The fire pit is located on a spot on the property high above the lake but with a great view of the lake.
